Token authentication
Token authentication is the standard security technology provided with every VOPED account. Token authentication ensures that each video url has an expiration period of 60 seconds. These unique URLs prevent other sites from hotlinking your video content and playing it outside of your site or a user following a link to content they are not authorized to view.

DRM protection starts at the encoding process and encrypts the original video using a unique key. At this point, even if the user was able to download the content it could not be viewed.
The VOPED platform authorizes the content by validating the user, using their Voped, Facebook or Twitter login, and creates a unique playback license for the user. Once authorized the user can then view the licensed content on the web, mobile application, or consumer device.
The combination of token authentication and DRM provides a secure robust solution to securely delivery content on any consumer device.
